Collect on Delivery (COD)

COD Restricted Delivery

Provides USPS collection from the recipient for the price of the item and cost of postage for an article for which the sender has not been paid. Sender must guarantee return postage (if refused or undeliverable).

Mail travels at the speed of the mail class the additional service is added to.

• Due to the higher level of security placed on this service, it is possible that the Registered Mail process could slow the speed at which a mailpiece travels.

3. If insured for more than $500.00, signature service provided only if hardcopy return receipt (form 3811) is also purchased.
