    Priority Mail Express International® with Money-Back Guarantee (also called Priority Mail Express International® Service, Date Certain Delivery with Money Back Guarantee and PMEI-DC) is an enhanced service of Priority Mail Express International® (PMEI) that offers a date-certain, postage-refund guarantee for pieces to specific destinations. The item is guaranteed to be delivered on or before the Guaranteed Delivery Date (GDD).

    The GDD is the specific date a PMEI-DC item is scheduled to arrive at its destination. This date is calculated by the origin Postal Code of the item and its destination Postal Code and can be determined in advance by using the Postage Price Calculator. Depending on the country you choose, the product you choose, and the size of the package, you may be able to calculate a guaranteed date of delivery in the place of a range of delivery days. If this service is available, a blue "Calculate Guaranteed Date" link will display under the Priority Mail Express International product name and details. Click that link to access the "Priority Mail Express International Guaranteed Delivery Lookup."
     

    This enhanced service currently only exists with the countries listed below (as well as the United States).

    • Australia
    • Canada
    • China
    • France (Does not include Corsica and Monaco)
    • Hong Kong
    • Japan
    • South Korea
    • Spain (Does not include Canary Islands)
    • Thailand

    Money Back Guarantee

    PMEI-DC items are guaranteed to arrive on a specific date with a money back service guarantee on the postage paid if delivery or a delivery attempt did not occur by the Guaranteed Delivery Date.

    Guaranteed date-certain delivery with Priority Mail Express International is only available for the above specific destination countries. This guaranteed date-certain delivery is not eligible for other international mail classes.


    Locating the GDD

    You can locate the Guaranteed Delivery Date (GDD) on the following for your PMEI-DC item:

    • Postage receipts
    • Mailing/shipping labels
    • Customs forms
      You may have received one or more of the above depending on where the item was mailed from.

      Mail deposited at a CPU after the last collection of the day will be processed on the following postal business day.)

      • Sender's copy of PS Form 2976-B with the scheduled amount of days
      Click-N-Ship®
      (The Click-N-Ship item must be mailed from the Post Office to get a Guaranteed Delivery Date)
      • A postage receipt printout listing the GDD
      • Copy of online customs form

      Collection Box
      (
      Mail deposited in a Collection Box after the last collection of the day will be processed on the following postal business day.)

      • Copy of online customs form with the scheduled amount of days will be mailed to you after the contents of the Collection Box are scanned into the system

      Additional information on PS Form 2976-B

      Look for the shaded box labeled Scheduled Delivery Date on the right side of the PS Form 2976-B (Priority Mail Express International Shipping Label and Customs Form). It will have either:

      • The Guaranteed Delivery Date or
      • The number of scheduled postal business days for the guaranteed delivery
        • For example, if the delivery of an item is guaranteed to arrive in 5 postal business days, the clerk will mark "5" in this box.
        • If number of days is entered, this number is not calendar days. This excludes the time that spans a weekend or holiday in the US or destination country.

      Extra Services

      Insurance

      Both PMEI-DC shipments and Priority Mail Express International (PMEI) shipments containing merchandise are insured against loss, damage, or missing contents up to $200 at no additional charge. Shipments containing nonnegotiable documents are insured against loss, damage, or missing contents up to $100 at no additional charge.
      • Additional merchandise insurance coverage up to $5,000 may be purchased. Coverage for documents beyond $100 is not available.
      • Coverage is limited to the actual value of the shipment.
      • Insurance availability varies by country, content, and value. See the Individual Country Listings for availability and insurance limits.
